Autumn Book Reading
Autumn is one of my favourite times of year. The weather becomes cooler and I can start wearing sweaters again. Autumn is also the best time to curl up with a good book. I find that I usually end up doing most of my reading in the fall and winter months. Recently, I have read Secondhand Souls, Bloodsucking Fiends, You Suck and Bite Me by Christopher Moore. I also picked up the Quick Read, Doctor Who: I Am A Dalek and am now reading Aesop’s Fables. None of these are really anything I would do anything close to a lengthy review on (though I may do one for the Christopher Moore books at some point), but they are entertaining to read.
There is something about the autumn that just seems to require reading at great length. Perhaps I will end up writing more for this site because of it. I do have many books sitting on my Kobo to choose from.
One of the hardest things when you finish reading a book is trying to choose what to read next. There are so many wonderful books to choose from or old favourites to reread.
If anyone is an eBook reader like myself, one of the best places to find free and cheap eBooks is through the website BookBub. I have picked up a few here myself. It’s free to sign up and you put in your preferences and receive weekly recommendations from a large selection of books. They even have recent best sellers pop up on their lists at time. Recently, The Selection by Kiera Cass had been available on sale and this site is what notified me of it. If you love eBooks, I definitely recommend checking this site out. You never know what you will find for free or a good, low price.
